Ron CarterとElectricbassについて調べている

ロン・カーターってエレキベース弾かないでマイルスバンド辞めたんだからエレベ弾くぐらいなら死ぬ人間だと思ってたんだけど、Gil Scott-Heronのアルバムのクレジットに「Ron Carter, bass & electric bass」って書いてあって、これは何かのクレジットミスじゃないんですか。

どうも70年前後にfender bassとかelectricbassでクレジットされてるアルバムが何枚かあるところを見るとこの時期ロン・カーターは一応エレキベースに手を出していたっぽいな。リーダー作とか、CTI一連の仕事とか。

He stayed with Davis's regular group until 1968 (when he was replaced by Dave Holland), and participated in a couple of studio sessions with Davis in 1969 and 1970. Although he played electric bass occasionally during this period, he has subsequently eschewed that instrument entirely, and now plays only acoustic bass.

Bob Cranshawなんか腰痛めた時期には迷わずエレキ弾いてるのになー。しかも音使いやらリズムが完全にダブルベース。
